Terms and Conditions

Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the site and the booking of accommodation, activities, and packages from Ouidah Haven.

Minimum age

18 years old to book.

Bookings and payment

Payment is made as a single charge, in USD, at the time the service is booked, through a secure payment gateway, with no separate deposit, in accordance with the Booking and Cancellation Policy. Conversion to local currency is handled automatically.

Cancellations

The Booking and Cancellation Policy applies.

Intellectual property

All content on the site (text, images, brand) belongs to Ouidah Haven.

Partnership with the hotels

The hotels are partners in direct alliance with Ouidah Haven; each party assumes its own responsibility within the service it provides.

Liability

Ouidah Haven is not liable for causes of force majeure beyond its reasonable control.

Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory right granted to the consumer under Law No. 2007-21 of October 16, 2007 on consumer protection in Benin, to the extent it applies to the service booked.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Benin. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Ouidah, Benin, unless Law No. 2007-21 on consumer protection mandatorily provides for a different forum for the consumer user.
